Scope of Responsibility

Reporting to the Controller, the successful candidate will use their strong organizational and technical skills to manage the day-to-day activities of this role. This will include but not be limited to:

  • Reviewing, verifying, and inputting vendor invoices
  • Processing and reconciling payments to vendors and company credit cards
  • Intercompany rebilling of expenses
  • Completing and submitting tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, and other government documents
  • Reviewing, verifying, and inputting source data from the hotels and restaurants
  • Posting journal entries and reconciling accounts

Part of this role’s duties will involve payroll and benefits administration, including, but not limited to:

  • Maintaining and updating employee information, such as records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements
  • Preparing and verifying statements of earnings for employees, including gross and net salaries and deductions
  • Preparing, verifying, and processing all payroll-related remuneration, including regular pay, vacation pay, benefits, and other payments
  • Preparing payroll-related filings and supporting documentation, such as year-end tax statements, Records of Employment, and other statements

Scope of Responsibility

The Operations Administrative Assistant provides support for the Operations Department of the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Corporate office. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping visitors, corporate office colleagues, hotel guests and staff, the general upkeep of the office, including general clerical duties, and administrative support for operations.

The Operations Administrative Assistant:

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries
  • Monitors and organizes inventory of supplies for corporate office and the hotels, ordering supplies as required
  • Assists with product and service quote sourcing
  • Prepares and organizes items for site visits
  • Provides administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer
  • Coordinates travel schedules and use of company vehicles
  • Monitors company email correspondence, answering or referring inquiries
  • Prepares and maintains organized documentation
  • Organizes and maintains network files
  • Assists with the operations of the office building
  • Assists with local errands for purchasing and/or projects
  • Supports execution of renovation and improvement projects
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Performs other duties as required

Prestige Lakeside Resort is hiring a Maintenance Attendant to maintain and fix amenities of guest rooms and common spaces of the hotel properties.

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a flexible schedule dependent on abilities.

Duties:

  • Maintain and improve upon hotel guest rooms and additional public areas by performing routine maintenance jobs and repairs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve pool and hot tub mechanical issues
  • Perform hotel room repair activities. (i.e., handrails, walls, doors, flooring.)
  • Perform heavy lifting (i.e., move heavy furniture, remove scrap and debris)
  • Perform painting, snow removal, and light landscaping
  • Maintain positive communication with the hotel General Manager to ensure that tasks are completed
  • Ensure friendly professional interactions with hotel guests
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Prior maintenance or trades experience
  • 2 years experience in a maintenance role considered an asset
  • A background in electrical and /or plumbing is an asset
  • Must be able to lift medium to heavy loads weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb)
  • Previous painting experience
  • BC Driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

We're seeking multiple candidates to fill Housekeeper positions at the Prestige Treasure Cove Resort in Prince George, BC. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Here's how you'll contribute to providing a premiere guest experience at our resort:

  • Performing cleaning and sanitizing duties in all guest areas, including rooms, lobby areas, and back of house. We offer a variety of spaces for meetings, conferences, and weddings, too!
  • Consistently offering professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Ensuring housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
  • Timely responding to guests’ special requests to prepare the room for arrival or during their stay, including requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.

  • Following departmental policies and procedures.
