Scope of Responsibility

  • Pursue new business opportunities and manage existing client accounts
  • Ensure guest satisfaction levels and standards of quality

The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for bringing new business to the Hotel, including on site restaurants, and catering. The job requires strong interpersonal skills, a background in sales, marketing, and management as well as an ability to responsibly manage finances.

Position Description

The Sales & Marketing Manager networks with potential clients, manages large accounts, works to maintain a loyal customer base, and oversees all sales and marketing strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes current client base or target market for the hotel and restaurants.
  • Devises new ways to expand that client base.
  • Develops promotional and advertising materials for the hotel and restaurants.
  • Oversees distribution of marketing materials.
  • Reaches out to organizations and businesses that might require a hotel, restaurant, or caterer for conferences and events.
  • Meets with representatives from these companies to explain the hotel’s merits and amenities.
  • Networks with wedding planners and special event planners to encourage bookings.

The Housekeeping Supervisor is a working housekeeper role who assists the General Manager plan, organize, supervise, and motivate to achieve the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel.

Job Duties:

  • Performs guest room housekeeping duties, laundry functions, arrival checks, and cleans public areas and conference areas on a regular basis
  • Trains, onboards, and motivates housekeeping and laundry personnel
  • Collaborates with maintenance staff
