COVID-19 UPDATE

Please note: BC’s Public Health Order now requires masks to be worn in all indoor public spaces by everyone over the age of 5.

In addition, effective September 13, proof of at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccination will be required to gain access to many public events, services, and businesses. By October 24, proof of being fully-vaccinated will be required. This will be in effect for BC residents and anyone visiting from outside the province over the age of 12, and no exceptions are allowed for any reason.

Hotels are deemed an essential service and therefore, guests of Prestige do not need to demonstrate proof of vaccination to stay with us. However, proof of vaccine will be required at:

  • All sit-down restaurants, lounges and cafes located in our hotels (indoor and patio dining). Proof of vaccine will not be required for breakfast rooms, ‘grab and go’ facilities, or when getting take-out.
  • Prestige hotel locations with Athletic Centres that accept public memberships (Sooke, Radium, Cranbrook, Salmon Arm). Proof of vaccination will be required by hotel guests and membership holders. All other Prestige locations with fitness rooms will not require proof of vaccination.
  • Proof of vaccination for meetings and events will be dependent on regional requirements.

Proof of vaccination will not be required for use of our pool facilities in any of our properties.

Prestige takes the health and safety of our guests extremely seriously and we will cooperate with the PHO as we are required to do so by law. We ask that you please treat our staff with kindness as they enforce the proof of vaccination orders.

For more information on the Government of BC’s proof of vaccination requirements, and to learn more about what is required or to sign-up for your proof of vaccination card, visit this website: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/vaccinecard.html

Please also be aware that regional restrictions regarding gathering and dining group sizes may also be in effect in some Prestige communities. Please consult the BC Government’s website prior to arriving.

Book Direct and be rewarded

We know that online travel sites have become a common way for travelers to make their reservations, and many people still believe that booking their hotel stays on those sites leads to better deals.

But what you may not know is that booking direct with Prestige (by phone, email, or on our website) provides many more perks than booking on one of ‘those sites’ and no…. you won’t pay more!

At Prestige Hotels and Resorts, we’re committed to offering the same rates on our website as you will find elsewhere online. If "they" are running a promotion, so are we! And for some reason, if you happen to find a lower rate elsewhere online, just give us a call, tell us where you found it, and we will gladly match it!  Note: matched price will be subject to the same restrictions as the online rate (non-refundable, minimum length of stay, etc... as applicable), it must be in Canadian dollars, and will be valid only the same date.

In addition to price-matching, the following perks are even more reason to book direct with Prestige:

  • Receive a more personalized, hassle-free booking experience. We’ll be able to advise you on what room type will suit your needs best, and we’ll be able to make special notes within your guest profile to ensure you receive everything you’ve requested.
  • You’ll be eligible to receive Prestige Rewards or Aeroplan points when you book direct!  Unlike travelers who book on another site, you will earn points or Aeroplan points on every stay.
  • Guests who book direct are more likely to be upgraded into a larger room, or one with a better view. It’s just another way we reward our direct-bookers.
  • Need to cancel your stay? It’s so much easier if you booked direct! Simply give the hotel a call, and it’s done. No hoops to jump through or additional website companies to contact.

So the next time you stay, be sure to book on our website or call us at 1-87-PRESTIGE and take advantage of all the perks that you’re entitled to.
