Hotel Amenities
Concierge Services and board game rentals– Contact Guest Services to borrow our complimentary board games, or inquire about local attractions, tours and restaurants.
Conventions, Meetings and Special Events – Convention & Sales Manager: dial 410
Business Centre – Computer and printer workstation is available for guest use. Please inquire at the front desk.
Fitness Centre – Located on the ground floor beside the front desk. Must be 19 or older. Fitness Centre is open 24 hours. Ask the front desk for the gym access code.
Ice – Two machines are located between the 2nd and 3rd floors on the southwest and southeast stairwells.
Snack Soft Drink Vending Machines – Located on the main floor in the NE and NW stairwells. Please note: They do not take cash, only card.
Self-Serve Laundry – Two coin-operated washers and dryers are available for guest use. Detergent and fabric softener are available for purchase. To use the laundry room, please enter code ‘2512’.
Pool and Hot Tub – Our indoor swimming pool and hot tub are located in the atrium. For your safety, please observe posted regulations. Children under 7 years must be supervised within arm’s reach at all times by a responsible person of at least 16 years old. Pool towels are available by the pool area. The swimming pool area is unsupervised. The pool is open from 9 am – 10 pm daily, with 9 pm – 10 pm being adults only.
Security – For the safety of our guests and employees, the hotel uses security cameras in public areas. The security cameras are not monitored by personnel. Access to recordings is restricted and managed in accordance with privacy standards. Please remove all valuables from your vehicle, including bikes. As our parking lots are accessible to the general public, we cannot be held responsible for stolen items.

With easy access to both Kalamalka Lake and Okanagan Lake, the area is a popular destination for hiking, cycling, paddling, and exploring the outdoors. Visitors can step back in time at Historic O’Keefe Ranch, discover hands-on exhibits at the Okanagan Science Centre, or explore the shops, restaurants, wineries, and orchards that make Vernon a favourite Okanagan getaway.
Downtown Vernon
Downtown Vernon, with all its shops, restaurants and cafes, is just a 3 minute drive or 11 minute walk from the Lodge.
Okanagan Science Centre
The Okanagan Science Centre is a 5 minute drive from the Lodge. Fun for the whole family, the Okanagan Science Centre has hands on education, with a variety of displays ranging from dinosaurs to engineering!
Kin Beach (Okanagan Lake)
Kin Beach is a 10 minute drive from the Lodge. Soak up the sun and enjoy a refreshing dip in Okanagan Lake.
Kal Beach (Kalamalka Lake)
Kal Beach is a 10 minute drive from the Lodge. Enjoy the turquoise waters of Kalamalka Lake, a great lake for swimming, paddle boarding, or just relaxing on the beach.
Davison Orchards
Davison Orchards is a 5 minute drive from the Lodge. Davison Orchards is a beloved family-run destination that has been welcoming visitors for generations. Known for its fresh produce, orchard tours, country market, and scenic views of the Okanagan Valley, it’s a great place to experience local agriculture.
Historic O’Keefe Ranch
The Historic O’Keefe Ranch is a 12 minute drive from the Lodge. Established in 1867, this living heritage site features original buildings, costumed interpreters, and exhibits that bring the region’s ranching and pioneer history to life in an engaging, family-friendly setting.
Explore the Outdoors
Known as the Trails Capital of BC, Vernon is an outdoor enthusiast’s playground with hundreds of kilometres of trails for hiking, biking, and exploring. Frequently Asked Questions
- When is checkout time?
11 am. Contact Guest Services by 10 am if you wish to stay an additional night or extend your checkout time. All checkouts after 11 am are subject to an additional charge.
- What if I wish to have privacy during my stay?
While we are pleased to accommodate your request for privacy during your stay, for your safety and comfort, it is our policy to check each guestroom once every 24 hours. Should you wish to have privacy, please turn on your indicator and contact Guest Services to inform us of a more convenient time to service your room.
- Can I digitally tip housekeeping?
Yes, you can! While it’s totally optional, we understand that many of our guests like tipping our housekeeping staff directly and now you can do it digitally!
- Can I have visitors in my room?
In the interest of all registered guests, parties are not permitted in guestrooms, and maximum room capacities must be followed at all times (max of two adults for every one bed in the guest room). Non-registered guests are not permitted in guestrooms after 10 pm.
- Is there free WiFi?
Complimentary standard internet access is available in each guestroom. For assistance from our front desk team, please call 0. (If you experience technical difficulty at any time with the wireless connection, please call the 24-hour hotline at 1-888-865-6364)
- Is my room non-smoking?
We are pleased to provide a smoke-free environment. A minimum $300 per incident cleaning fee will be applied to your account for smoking in your guestroom(s), guest balcony(s), anywhere inside the building, or in contravention of the BC Tobacco Control Act – Section 2.3 (1)b which specifies that a person cannot hold lighted tobacco or be smoking tobacco or other substances (cannabis, vapes, or other inhalants) within 6 meters of a doorway, window, or intake vent. The fee will be used to restore the room to the original quality level.
- Does my room have a smoke or CO detector?
Yes, your room is equipped with alarms for smoke and carbon monoxide. Should either alarm sound, evacuate your room immediately. Please review the safety card in the top drawer of the bedside table or by clicking the link below.
- Does the Prestige Vernon Lodge allow dogs?
For guests with furry friends, we have a limited number of designated dog-friendly guestrooms. A fee of $30 per night applies; ask us about long-term stay fees. A maximum of two dogs weighing less than 80 lbs (per dog) are permitted in each designated dog-friendly room. Guests allowing dogs or any other pets in a non-designated room will be charged a fee and asked to remove the pet from the guestroom. Disposable plastic bags and dog beds are available upon request.
