Guest Services & Amenities
Concierge Services, sporting equipment and board game rentals– Contact Guest Services to borrow our complimentary sporting equipment, and board games, or inquire about local attractions, tours and restaurants.
Ear Plugs – To ensure you have a comfortable sleep, you will find a complimentary pair of ear plugs in the dresser drawer. These will help reduce exterior noise; please ask the front desk if you require an additional pair.

Business Centre – Located in the lobby.
Fitness Centre – Located on the main floor. Must be 19 or older. Fitness Centre is open from 6 am – 10 pm daily.
Ice – Located on the 1st and 2nd floor.
Soft Drink Vending Machines – Located on the 2nd floor.
Snack Vending Machine – Located on the 2nd floor.
Kettles – Available upon request at the front desk. Limited quantities, and subject to availability. Fees may apply.
In-Room Coffee Makers – Please allow several minutes for the machine to reheat between cups brewed.
Security – The hotel features a video surveillance system that is monitored regularly. However, we recommend that you make full use of the viewer in the door and double lock your guestroom before retiring. We highly suggest that valuables are not left in your car.
Swimming Pool and Hot Tub – Our indoor swimming pool and hot tub are located on the main floor. For your safety, please observe posted regulations. Children under 7 years must be supervised within arm’s reach at all times by a responsible person of at least 16 years old. Pool towels are available by the pool area. The swimming pool area is unsupervised. Pool is open from 7 am – 10 pm.
Waterslide – Our waterslide is now open. However, as per provincial requirements, a trained attendant must supervise the waterslide at all times that it is open. Therefore, the hours that the waterslide will be operational will vary depending on staff availability, and they are subject to change. Please check with the front desk on operating hours.
Refreshment Station – Our refreshment station is available when our restaurant is not open. Please help yourself to coffee, tea, or water at the refreshment station located next to the front desk.

- When is checkout time?
11 am. Contact Guest Services by 10 am if you wish to stay an additional night or extend your checkout time. All checkouts after 11 am are subject to an additional charge.
- What if I wish to have privacy during my stay?
While we are pleased to accommodate your request for privacy during your stay, for your safety and comfort, it is our policy to check each guestroom once every 24 hours. Should you wish to have privacy, please hang your privacy sign on your door handle and contact Guest Services to inform us of a more convenient time to service your room.
- Can I digitally tip housekeeping?
Yes, you can! While it’s totally optional, we understand that many of our guests like tipping our housekeeping staff directly and now you can do it digitally!
- Can I have visitors in my room?
In the interest of all registered guests, parties are not permitted in guestrooms, and maximum room capacities must be followed at all times (max of two adults for every one bed in the guest room). Non-registered guests are not permitted in guestrooms after 10 pm.
- Is there free WiFi?

- Is my room non-smoking?
We are pleased to provide a smoke-free environment. A minimum $300 per incident cleaning fee will be applied to your account for smoking in your guestroom(s), guest balcony(s), anywhere inside the building, or in contravention of the BC Tobacco Control Act – Section 2.3 (1)b which specifies that a person cannot hold lighted tobacco or be smoking tobacco or other substances (cannabis, vapes, or other inhalants) within 6 meters of a doorway, window, or intake vent. The fee will be used to restore the room to the original quality level.
- Does my room have a smoke or CO detector?
Yes, your room is equipped with alarms for smoke and carbon monoxide. Should either alarm sound, evacuate your room immediately. Please review the safety card in the top drawer of the bedside table or by clicking the link below.
- Does the Prestige Kamloops Hotel allow dogs?
For guests with furry friends, we have a limited number of designated dog-friendly guestrooms. A fee of $30 per night applies; ask us about long-term stay fees. A maximum of two dogs weighing less than 80 lbs (per dog) are permitted in each designated dog-friendly room. Guests allowing dogs or any other pets in a non-designated room will be charged a fee and asked to remove the pet from the guestroom. Disposable plastic bags and dog beds are available upon request.
