Welcome to Prestige Harbourfront Resort, the only resort located on the shores of Shuswap Lake in Salmon Arm.
Built from the ground up in 2001, the resort was designed with comfort and a sense of connection in mind. Today, it brings together modern conveniences, thoughtfully designed spaces, and an upscale experience.

Nespresso Coffee Makers – Located in the dresser unit. Please allow several minutes for the machine to reheat between cups brewed.
Kettles, Microwaves, & Mini Fridges– Located in the dresser unit.
Safekeeping – A safe is located in the closet of your guestroom. We are not responsible for valuables left on the premises.

Eligible guests staying two or more nights may choose to opt out of daily housekeeping through our Go Green program. Participants can receive 1,000 Prestige Rewards points, a $10 dining credit, or have one tree planted in BC through our partnership with veritree, which supports reforestation efforts following wildfires.

Hotel Amenities
Concierge Services and Bike, Sporting Equipment and Board Game Rentals– Contact Guest Services to borrow our complimentary sporting equipment, bikes and ebikes, kayaks and stand up paddleboards, and board games or inquire about local attractions, tours and restaurants.

Arcade – Located on the main floor. Open 7 am – 10 pm daily.
Fitness Centre – Located on the main floor; access to the Prestige Athletic Club is open 24/7. Must be 19 or older.
Ice – Located on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors.
Snack Vending Machines – Located on the 1st floor.
Soft Drink Vending Machines – Located on the 1st and 4th floors.
Electric Car Chargers – Tesla and universal car chargers have been installed at the resort, located in the parking lot. For hotel guest use only.
Valet Laundry Services – Please use the laundry bag located in the closet and leave it with Guest Services before 9:00 am for same-day service. Fees apply.
Self-Serve Laundry – Machines are located on the main floor. $2 each per wash & dry. Laundry amenities are available at the front desk for $2 each.
Swimming Pool – Our indoor/outdoor swimming pool and outdoor hot tub are located on the main floor just off the front lobby. For your safety, please observe posted regulations. Children under 7 years must be supervised within arm’s reach at all times by a responsible person of at least 16 years old. Pool towels are available by the pool area. The swimming pool area is unsupervised. The pool is open from 7 am -10 pm for all ages, with the hour of 10 pm – 11 pm being adults only.
Security – For the safety of our guests and employees, the hotel uses security cameras in public areas. The security cameras are not monitored by personnel. Access to recordings is restricted and managed in accordance with privacy standards. Please remove all valuables from your vehicle, including bikes. As our parking lots are accessible to the general public, we cannot be held responsible for stolen items.

Let’s Talk Salmon Arm
Salmon Arm is the perfect place to experience small town charm amongst splendid nature. Looking out from our resort, you’ll see Bastion Mountain, and of course, our beloved Shuswap Lake. This estuary is a bird watchers paradise, we encourage you to set out and see what you can find, ask our front desk about binoculars!
The Wharf
The Wharf is a 3 minute walk from the resort. Take in incredible views of the Shuswap on North America’s longest curved inland wooden wharf.
Shuswap Pie Company
The Shuswap Pie Company is a 5 minute drive or a 7 minute walk from the resort. We highly recommend going early, as their world famous pies sell out quickly! It is also a great place for breakfast, coffee, and lunch, making it a must visit when you’re in Salmon Arm.
R.J. Haney Heritage Village
The R.J Haey Heritage Village is a 10 minute drive from the resort. Step back into a living history museum and see what life was once like in the Shuswap.
Salmon Arm Golf Club
The Salmon Arm Golf Club is a 13 minute drive from the resort. Enjoy two beautifully treed courses in the Salmon Valley.
Canoe Beach
Canoe Beach is a 14 minute drive from the resort. Known as the best beach in Salmon Arm, you’ll find beautiful sand, a concession stand (open seasonally), and there’s even a dog beach.

Frequently Asked Questions
- When is checkout time?
11 am. Contact Guest Services by 10 am if you wish to stay an additional night or extend your checkout time. All checkouts after 11 am are subject to an additional charge.
- What if I wish to have privacy during my stay?
While we are pleased to accommodate your request for privacy during your stay, for your safety and comfort, it is our policy to check each guestroom once every 24 hours. Should you wish to have privacy, please turn on your indicator and contact Guest Services to inform us of a more convenient time to service your room.
- Can I digitally tip housekeeping?
Yes, you can! While it’s totally optional, we understand that many of our guests like tipping our housekeeping staff directly and now you can do it digitally!
- Can I have visitors in my room?
In the interest of all registered guests, parties are not permitted in guestrooms, and maximum room capacities must be followed at all times (max of two adults for every one bed in the guest room). Non-registered guests are not permitted in guestrooms after 10 pm.
- Is there free WiFi?
Complimentary standard internet access is available in each guestroom. For assistance from our front desk team, please call 0. (If you experience technical difficulty at any time with the wireless connection, please call the 24-hour hotline at 1-888-865-6364)
- Is my room non-smoking?
We are pleased to provide a smoke-free environment. A minimum $300 per incident cleaning fee will be applied to your account for smoking in your guestroom(s), guest balcony(s), anywhere inside the building, or in contravention of the BC Tobacco Control Act – Section 2.3 (1)b which specifies that a person cannot hold lighted tobacco or be smoking tobacco or other substances (cannabis, vapes, or other inhalants) within 6 meters of a doorway, window, or intake vent. The fee will be used to restore the room to the original quality level.
- Does my room have a smoke or CO detector?
Yes, your room is equipped with alarms for smoke and carbon monoxide. Should either alarm sound, evacuate your room immediately. Please review the safety card in the top drawer of the bedside table or by clicking the link below.
- Does the Prestige Harbourfront Resort Salmon allow dogs?
For guests with furry friends, we have a limited number of designated dog-friendly guestrooms. A fee of $40 per night applies; ask us about long-term stay fees. A maximum of two dogs weighing less than 80 lbs (per dog) are permitted in each designated dog-friendly room. Guests allowing dogs or any other pets in a non-designated room will be charged a fee and asked to remove the pet from the guestroom. Disposable plastic bags and dog beds are available upon request.
