Explore the Okanagan with the Family

Day One:

Start your adventure by heading to Salmon Arm! Arrive at the Prestige Harbourfront Resort Salmon Arm and check into your spacious guestroom. Stroll down the wharf or along the nature estuary to give your legs a stretch before sitting down to dinner on patio at Nineteen05 – the hotel’s brand new restaurant with a gorgeous view of Shuswap Lake. Be sure to check out the indoor/outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub that you and the whole family will love!

Day Two:

Start your day with a latte and a sweet or savory crepe from Café Tasse before beginning your adventure! Head to Canoe Beach to play in the sand with beach toys borrowed from the resort, or secure your boat or sea-doo rentals with Sea-Dog Rentals, just steps from the resort. After some fun in the sun be sure to visit downtown Salmon Arm and stop for lunch at Shuswap Pie Company!

In the afternoon, make your way towards Vernon. If you’re up for more activities, take the kids bowling at Lincoln Lanes, then check into the Prestige Vernon Lodge for your stay in an atrium-facing room. For dinner, we recommend Asian Avenue, which offers delicious cuisine and a fantastic ambiance. Enjoy the tropical interior atrium of the Lodge by going for a dip in the pool amongst the plants.

Day Three:

Spend the morning at Davison Orchards before you leave town! Be sure to enjoy some sweet treats and fresh juice at the Farmhouse Café. When you arrive in Kelowna, suit up and head to Splash BC’s “Wibit” on Okanagan Lake. The kids will be sure to enjoy the play structure and slides while the parents can relax and bask in the sweet Okanagan sunshine! Cool down with ice cream from Moolix before checking into the Prestige Beach House Kelowna. Dinner at West Coast Grill is a great way to end the day, with delicious options for the whole family.  Their Happy Hour from 3-6 pm is an amazing value!

Day Four:

After packing up, don’t miss out on brunch at the Bohemian Café – a staple for all Kelownians. Drive safe back home or wherever the rest of your Okanagan adventures take you!

Kootenays Couples Road Trip

Day One:

Pack up and hit the road to adventure! Arrive in Rossland and check into the Prestige Mountain Resort. After you get settled in, be sure to make your way to Rossland Beer Company (conveniently located across the street from the resort) for a beverage. For a romantic or indulgent dinner, there’s no better place to dine than our very own, Gabriella’s Italian Restaurant, located at the hotel. Indulge in delectable pasta and other Italian-inspired entrées, and then end your evening with a soak in the jacuzzi before getting a good night’s sleep!

Day Two:

Grab a quick bite from Caffé Gabriella in the morning then head out on your guided mountain biking tour with Kootenay Mountain Biking. Experience the mountain range like a local and pick up some new skills with experienced guides. In the afternoon, make your way to Nelson and check into the Prestige Lakeside Resort. If you’re ready to unwind, treat yourself to a massage at Mountain Waters Spa. For dinner, we suggest the patio at Port 701 which boasts a “can’t be beat” view of Kootenay Lake. The food is pretty great too!

Day Three:

Stop by Oso Negro first thing for aromatic coffee and freshly baked muffins. If you head across BOB (the Big Orange Bridge) over the lake, you can easily find the trailhead for Pulpit Rock. This 3.5 km trek climbs up the mountain to a rockface that outcrops over the trees. Relax and enjoy the view of the valley before heading back down. Once you return to the resort, stroll over to the marina to rent kayaks or paddleboards and get out on the glacier-fed water! You could also walk along Baker Street and check out the historic downtown shops. We would highly recommend the Outer Clove for a garlic-infused dinner!

Day Four:

After breakfast at the Awaken Wellness Café located at our resort, make your way towards Radium Hot Springs. This 4-hour drive takes you through some incredible mountain passes and viewpoints. Upon arrival, check into the Prestige Radium Hot Springs Resort and get your swimsuits ready! Head to the Radium Hot Springs Pools, just minutes away, and recap the trip so far as you make even more memories. Dinner at our on-site restaurant Conrads Kitchen and Grill will top off your night on a high note.

Day Five:

In the morning, collect your breakfast from the Big Horn Café before heading to Kootenay River Runners for a morning full of adrenaline. Get out on the water with a seasoned guide and experience class 2-3 rapids! If that’s not enough to get your blood pumping, you could also add on an afternoon ziplining adventure with Valley Zip. You’re sure to need a good night’s sleep, so stop in for amazing Mexican-inspired drinks and appies at Don Agave’s before bed and your travel day!

Northern BC's Group Adventures

Day One:

Arrive in Prince George and head to the Prestige Treasure Cove Resort to drop off your bags. Snap a selfie with the PG Man before going to dinner at Cimo Mediterranean Grill. You can’t go wrong with incredible entrees inspired by fresh, handpicked, local ingredients with vibrant flavours! There are options for everyone, including those with food sensitivities. When you get back to the resort, take advantage of all the amenities at your fingertips! Play a round of pool in the billiards room, relax in the lounge, or use the waterslide to jump in the pool!

Day Two:

After a relaxing sleep-in, pick up breakfast from Second Cup before heading to the Prince George Golf & Curling Club. Tee off and enjoy the wide-open fairways and panoramic views the north provides! Once you’ve completed your game, head to Northern Lights Estate Winery to experience BC’s northernmost winery! Situated along the beautiful Nechako riverfront, a tasting here is not to be forgotten. Partake in some delicious Greek cuisine at Ambrosia Greek Taverna located on-site at the Prestige Treasure Cove Resort before resting up for the next day’s drive.

Day Three:

Have a delicious breakfast at Benedicts, our on-site restaurant, before heading west towards Smithers. After you check into the Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge, be sure to take a stroll through the historic downtown and visit a few of the local breweries! Dinner at Don Cherry’s for some pub fare would be a great way to end the day.

Day Four:

Start your morning off right at Mountain View Adventures for an exciting horseback trail ride through the north! Once you’ve worked up an appetite in the fresh air, head to Alpenhorn Bistro & Bar for lunch. This restaurant offers a diverse menu, but the schnitzel really does steal the show! In the afternoon, walk along the Bulkley Valley River or check out Twin Falls for an incredible view. Head back to the hotel for dinner at Noir Kitchen and Bar, or visit one of the other great restaurants in Smithers.

Day Five:

Get an early start with coffee and baked goods from Two Sisters Café before another dose of the outdoors with a 6km hike to Crater Lake. Enjoy the views of the valley and mountain air on this gorgeous trail, with the halfway point being Crater Lake. Once you’ve returned to Smithers and checked out of the hotel, get ready for a scenic drive to Prince Rupert. Make sure to have your camera ready as you drive this twisting road along the Skeena River, complete with roadside waterfalls! Upon arrival in Prince Rupert, check into the Prestige Prince Rupert Hotel, then head down to Cow Bay to visit some of the local artisan shops and restaurants! Visit Breakers Pub for dinner overlooking the ocean at this local favorite.

Day Six:

After complimentary breakfast at the Prestige Prince Rupert Hotel, spend the day having an ocean adventure. Kayak rentals are available through Skeena Kayaking; join a tour or make your own route. If you’re lucky, you might even see whales or other wildlife! Once you’ve refueled in town, you can get another perspective of Prince Rupert by visiting the Tall Trees Trail which boasts incredible ocean views through the forest. Round out the trip with some delicious local seafood from Dolly’s Fish Market.

Day Seven:

Once you’re ready to face the day, treat yourself to some delicious lattes from Cowpuccino's, then it’s time to check out of the hotel and head home with so many new memories of your adventures in Northern BC!
