Resort Amenities
Concierge Services and bike, sporting equipment and board game rentals– Contact Guest Services to borrow our complimentary sporting equipment including bikes and e-bikes, kayaks and stand up paddles boards, board games or inquire about local attractions, tours and restaurants.
Note: these rentals are only available between 9 am – 3 pm and are on a first come first serve basis during the summer months. We reserve the right to alter these hours due to demand and staff availability. Please note that the availability of equipment varies by season.

Business Centre – Located on the main floor, just off the front lobby.
Fitness Centre – Located on level 1, access to the Prestige Athletic Club is open 24 hours a day. Must be 19 or older.
Electric Car Chargers – Tesla and Universal car chargers have been installed at the resort, located in the underground parkade. For hotel guest use only.
Ice – Located on the 2nd and 4th floors.
Soft Drink Vending Machines – Located on the 1st and 2nd floor.
Snack Vending Machine – Located on the 1st floor.
Cribs – Available upon request at the front desk. Limited quantities and subject to availability. Fees apply.
Self-Serve Laundry – Machines are located on the lobby level. $2 each per wash & dry. Laundry amenities are available at the front desk for $2 each.
Security – The hotel features a video surveillance system that is monitored regularly. However, we recommend that you make full use of the viewer in the door and double lock your guestroom before retiring. Please remove all valuables from your vehicle, including bikes. As our parking lots are accessible to the general public, we cannot be held responsible for stolen items.
Swimming Pool – Our indoor swimming pool and hot tub are located on level 1. For your safety, please observe posted regulations. Children under 7 years must be supervised within arm’s reach at all times by a responsible person of at least 16 years old. Pool towels are available in the pool area. The swimming pool area is unsupervised. The pool is open from 8 am – 9 pm for all ages, with the hour of 9 pm – 10 pm being adults only.

The Sooke Potholes are approximately a 15 minute drive from the resort. This unique series of naturally carved rock pools along the Sooke River is ideal for swimming, picnicking, and exploring during warmer months.

Whiffin Spit is about a 5 minute drive from the resort. This narrow stretch of land extends into the ocean and offers a flat, easy walking path with panoramic views of the water and surrounding mountains. It is a popular spot for quiet walks and wildlife viewing.

Frequently Asked Questions
- When is checkout time?
11 am. Contact Guest Services by 10 am if you wish to stay an additional night or extend your checkout time. All checkouts after 11 am are subject to an additional charge.
- What if I wish to have privacy during my stay?
While we are pleased to accommodate your request for privacy during your stay, for your safety and comfort, it is our policy to check each guestroom once every 24 hours. Should you wish to have privacy, please turn on your indicator and contact Guest Services to inform us of a more convenient time to service your room.
- Can I digitally tip housekeeping?
Yes, you can! While it’s totally optional, we understand that many of our guests like tipping our housekeeping staff directly and now you can do it digitally!
- Can I have visitors in my room?
In the interest of all registered guests, parties are not permitted in guestrooms, and maximum room capacities must be followed at all times (max of two adults for every one bed in the guest room). Non-registered guests are not permitted in guestrooms after 10 pm.
- Is there free WiFi?

- Is my room non-smoking?
We are pleased to provide a smoke-free environment. A minimum $300 per incident cleaning fee will be applied to your account for smoking in your guestroom(s), guest balcony(s), anywhere inside the building, or in contravention of the BC Tobacco Control Act – Section 2.3 (1)b which specifies that a person cannot hold lighted tobacco or be smoking tobacco or other substances (cannabis, vapes, or other inhalants) within 6 meters of a doorway, window, or intake vent. The fee will be used to restore the room to the original quality level.
- Does my room have a smoke or CO detector?
Yes, your room is equipped with alarms for smoke and carbon monoxide. Should either alarm sound, evacuate your room immediately. Please review the safety card in the top drawer of the bedside table or by clicking the link below.
- Does the Prestige Oceanfront Resort Sooke allow dogs?
For guests with furry friends, we have a limited number of designated dog-friendly guestrooms. A fee of $30 per night applies; ask us about long-term stay fees. A maximum of two dogs weighing less than 80 lbs (per dog) are permitted in each designated dog-friendly room. Guests allowing dogs or any other pets in a non-designated room will be charged a fee and asked to remove the pet from the guestroom. Disposable plastic bags and dog beds are available upon request.
