Things to Check Out Around Prestige: 7-11

To celebrate our 25th Anniversary we are encouraging guests to stay with us and experience what it means to have a Prestige vacation. We’ve taken a few of our top 25 favourites and grouped them together based on regions in BC. These entries (#7 to #11) are all things you can do while touring our Kootenay collection of properties.

7) Northern Lights Wildlife Wolf Centre

If you have a passion for wildlife and would love the opportunity to learn about wolves, a visit here is a must. Walks with the wolves are also a possibility but must be reserved in advance (16 years of age and older), check out their website for full details.


8) Glacier Raft Company

Our whitewater rafting company of choice, with so much experience and a variety of trips on offer for seasoned rafters and nervous beginners, this is the best way to get your feet wet! Check out our site for stay & raft packages or connect with them directly. Book in advance rafting starts in mid-May and ends in September.


9) Radium Hot Springs

Found in the Kootenay National Park just a short distance away from the town of Radium Hot Springs is one of BC’s best hot spring facilities. With a hot pool to soothe sore muscles and a cool pool to beat the heat you’re sure to spend a little bit of time here with the family. 10) The Springs Course (golf)

There are few golf courses that are as beautiful and well-designed as this. Paired with breath-taking views and unsurpassed natural beauty, this course is sure to impress even the most avid of golfers.


11) Canadian Museum of Rail Travel

For that train aficionado in your group, this is the place to go. Restored with attention to detail and continually striving to do more, The Canadian Museum of Rail Travel has a number of tours that will take on a journey through time as it relates to trains in Canada.
