The Prestige Hudson Bay Lodges offers a full service hotel and is located within the close knit community of Smithers. Showcasing pride in the town’s history, the cultural scene in Smithers is vibrant and captivating. Visit local shops and art galleries or explore with a historic walking tour.
2. Spend a day at Kathlyn Lake.
Enjoy a day swimming, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and playing at the beautiful Kathlyn Lake with amazing views of Hudson Bay Mountain as your backdrop. 3. Borrow the complimentary bikes and cycle the Perimeter Trail.
Much like the name suggests, the trail takes your around Smithers encompassing breathtaking views of the Bulkley river and Hudson Bay Mountain while connecting the town. While many hikers, bikers, dog walkers and joggers use the trail in the summer, if you find yourself in Smithers over winter, it’s a popular trail for cross country skiers and snowshoers. As a bonus activity make sure to take a short drive out to Witset (formerly known as Moricetown) and take in the history of the Wet’suwet’en by watching wild salmon jumping the falls, talk to local fishermen about traditional fishing techniques and their modern fisheries management program, and hear ancient stories about the place, its people and their culture.

The greatest aspect about the competition is that we are running it across both our Instagram and Facebook platforms, so for an even greater chance of winning, visit both social media sites and REPEAT steps 1-4. The winner will be announced on the last day of each month.
Competition fine print: Transportation to and from the hotel is not included in the prize package. The prize is not transferable and must be used within 12 months from the draw date. The winner must still be following Prestige Hotels and Resorts at the time of the draw to be eligible, otherwise a redraw will be performed until a winner is found.
