Have some fun at the Vernon Winter Carnival
Held in early February (and dating back to 1893), the Vernon Winter Carnival is a must-do/must-see! Every year has a theme – this year is “Remember the 60’s”. Fun activities for everyone, including hot air balloon rides, snow and ice-sculpting, a Suds n’ Cider showcase, cultural events, and much more. Keep on truckin’ dude!

Sample some local Okanagan Spirits
What better way to end a busy winter day than to sample some incredible locally-sourced and produced spirits. Do some shopping in downtown Vernon
Vernon features a beautiful downtown core featuring over 50 restaurants, 250 shops & boutiques (many locally owned and operated), three art galleries, shopping malls, and much more. Check out the Pink Spotted Goat for some unique local products, or Mary-Ann’s Closet for vintage designer clothing and accessories. Stop in at the Wedge Cheesery to try some of the best quality cheese on the market. The list is endless!
