Radium has everything you need for an adventure; Kootenay National Park, Yoho National Park, and Banff National Park are all easily accessible. Our nearby provincial parks include Dry Gulch Provincial Park, James Chabot Provincial Park, Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park, and Bugaboo Provincial Park. The Radium Hot Springs pools are a great place to relax! It is the largest and most accessible hot spring in the Rocky Mountains.
HOW TO GET HERE
No matter which direction you’re coming from, the journey to get here is almost as beautiful as the destination. Stay up to date with road conditions at DriveBC. The closest airport is the Canadian Rockies International Airport in Cranbrook B.C, an hour and a half from Radium.
THINGS TO DO
Those who live here know there’s no shortage of things to see and do in Radium. With hiking and biking trails accessible from downtown, Radium makes it easy to get into the great outdoors. The Columbia Valley has dozens of easily accessible rivers, lakes, and streams, for fishing, and paddling.
SKIING & SNOWBOARDING
Our quaint little village becomes every skier’s haven in the winter months. Radium has three world-class skiing destinations within 35 kilometres: Panorama Mountain Resort, Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Radium also has many options for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and heliskiing!
ACTIVITIES & ADVENTURE
Looking for a one-of-a-kind adventure? Radium won’t disappoint. Go whitewater rafting or ziplining to get your adrenaline pumping. Want to learn more about the area? Go on a guided hiking or mountaineering trip, or on a guided ATV trip, and learn from the locals.

With a mild spring and a warm fall, Radium has an extended golf season. Take in the exciting mountain scenery, or the tranquility of the Columbia Wetlands, as you enjoy one of our many golf courses.

Obviously our favourite restaurants in Radium are Conrad’s Kitchen and Grill, and Asia Nova Lounge, both located at Prestige Radium Hot Springs Resort. However, if you’ve already visited them and want to try out another great local eatery, Radium’s dining scene is sure to impress!
