HOW TO GET HERE
Salmon Arm is located half way between Vancouver and Calgary on the Trans Canada Highway. Be sure to check DriveBC when planning your road trip. Both the YWL airport in Kelowna, and the YKA airport in Kamloops, are an hour and a half drive from Salmon Arm.

Come and visit in the third weekend of August and take in the sights and sounds of the Roots & Blues Festival. For more than 30 years the Salmon Arm Folk Music Society has brought generations of music lovers together. Learn about the history of the Shuswap and enjoy some family fun at the R.J Hanley Heritage Village.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS
The Shuswap is vital to the spawning cycle of the Sockeye Salmon. The Salute to the Sockeye takes place every dominant year of salmon spawning; come by for some entertainment, art, and amazing food. It is not uncommon for over two million Sockeye to return to the area during a dominant year.
