Revelstoke Mountain Resort, located only one hour away from Salmon Arm, is welcomed by the Prestige Harbourfront Resort as a new stay and ski partner. As winter playgrounds go, Revelstoke Mountain Resort seems drawn from fantasy. The massive 8,058 foot tall vertical mountain is blessed annually with about 50 feet of dry powder. Approximately 5,600 vertical feet of lift-served skiing joins snowcat and heli-skiing operations that offer access to an additional half-million acres. Revelstoke's terrain has, in the past, favoured advanced skiers, but new chairlifts opening for the 2008/2009 season will please beginner and intermediate skiers alike.
