Fitness Centre – Must be 19 or older. Fitness Centre is open from 7 am – 10 pm daily.

Ice – Located on the main level near the lobby and in the convention centre lobby.

Soft Drink Vending Machines – Located on the main level near the lobby.

Snack Vending Machine – Located on the 2nd floor by the outer patio.

Kettles & Microwaves – Available upon request at the front desk. Limited quantities and subject to availability.

Playpens – Available upon request at the front desk. Limited quantities and subject to availability.

Sundeck – Located on the 2nd floor of the hotel. Available during the summer months 9 am – 9 pm. Guests under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. No alcohol, and no smoking permitted.

Room Service – Please scan the provided QR code for food and beverage service options.

Electric Car Chargers – Tesla and Universal car chargers have been installed at the resort, located in the parking lot. For hotel guest use only.

Self-Serve Laundry – Machines are located near the lobby area. Coin-operated washer and dryer. The front desk is happy to provide change, and detergent is available for a fee.

Valet Laundry – Minimum 24 hour return service. Contact Guest Services prior to 9 am. Valet laundry bag and sheet are hanging in the closet.

In-Room Coffee Makers – Located on dresser unit. Please allow several minutes for machine to reheat between cups brewed.

Security – The hotel features a video surveillance system that is monitored regularly. However, we recommend that you make full use of the viewer in the door and double lock your guestroom before retiring.

Swimming Pool –  Our indoor swimming pool and hot tub are located on the ground level. For your safety, please observe posted regulations. Children under 7 years must be supervised within arm’s reach at all times by a responsible person of at least 16 years old. Pool towels are available in the pool area. The swimming pool area is unsupervised. Pool is open from 8 am – 10 pm daily.

Games Room – We’re thrilled to announce that our brand-new Games Room is officially open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Cost of 50 cents per game. Dive into fun with two stand-up arcades and two sit-down arcade tables. Foosball is available to play for $1 per game. Bring your own game console to connect to our TV for a more personalized gaming experience. Please note that no food or drink is allowed in the Games Room, and children must be supervised by an adult.

When is checkout time?

11 am. Contact Guest Services by 10 am if you wish to stay an additional night or extend your checkout time. All checkouts after 11 am are subject to an additional charge.

What if I wish to have privacy during my stay?

While we are pleased to accommodate your request for privacy during your stay, for your safety and comfort, it is our policy to check each guestroom once every 24 hours. Should you wish to have privacy, please turn on your indicator and contact Guest Services to inform us of a more convenient time to service your room.

Can I digitally tip housekeeping?

Yes, you can! While it’s totally optional, we understand that many of our guests like tipping our housekeeping staff directly and now you can do it digitally!

Can I have visitors in my room?

In the interest of all registered guests, parties are not permitted in guestrooms, and maximum room capacities must be followed at all times (max of two adults for every one bed in the guest room). Non-registered guests are not permitted in guestrooms after 10 pm.

Is there free WiFi?

Is my room non-smoking?

We are pleased to provide a smoke-free environment. A minimum $300 per incident cleaning fee will be applied to your account for smoking in your guestroom(s), guest balcony(s), anywhere inside the building, or in contravention of the BC Tobacco Control Act – Section 2.3 (1)b which specifies that a person cannot hold lighted tobacco or be smoking tobacco or other substances (cannabis, vapes, or other inhalants) within 6 meters of a doorway, window, or intake vent. The fee will be used to restore the room to the original quality level.

Does my room have a smoke or CO detector?

Yes, your room is equipped with alarms for smoke and carbon monoxide. Should either alarm sound, evacuate your room immediately. Please review the safety card in the top drawer of the bedside table or by clicking the link below.

Does the Prestige Vernon Hotel allow dogs?

For guests with furry friends, we have a limited number of designated dog-friendly guestrooms. A fee of $30 per night applies; ask us about long-term stay fees. A maximum of two dogs weighing less than 80 lbs (per dog) are permitted in each designated dog-friendly room. Guests allowing dogs or any other pets in a non-designated room will be charged a fee and asked to remove the pet from the guestroom. Disposable plastic bags and dog beds are available upon request.
