The annual event takes place on September 5th, 6th and 7th at the Salmon Arm fairgrounds, offering plenty of time for you to take in the fun. While the Salmon Arm Fair has a great reputation throughout the Okanagan-Shuswap as being a popular event, few people know that the Fair has a long history, stretching back as far as 1897! How awesome is that?

This year’s edition of the Salmon Arm Fair will feature a wide range of entertainment including lawn tractor races, mini chuckwagon races, a horse show, the West Coast Lumberjack Show, and live music including Adam Fitzpatrick, the award-winning Elvis impersonator. The Fair offers a trip down memory lane (literally), and the Shuswap Pioneer Collectors’ Club will also be on site. And what’s a trip to the fair without a few rides? Don’t miss the Midway – open Saturday and Sunday from 12pm.

In addition, the Salmon Arm Fair will feature an array of competitions. From arts and crafts through to baking, home canning, spinning proficiency, and so much more.

You can learn more about the Salmon Arm Fair by visiting the Fair’s official website.
