How long have you been a member of the Prestige family?
I started with the company in 2010 and now am the General  Manager of the Prestige Harbourfront Resort in Salmon Arm.

What do you do for fun?
I love being outdoors and spending time with my family, preferably together. In the summer we are biking, hiking and swimming in the areas around the Shuswap and Rocky Mountains. In the winter, we are skiing in all forms including cross country, ski touring (backcountry) and alpine.

What are your best-kept Salmon Arm secrets?
I love having a Shuswap Day – a good morning bike ride on one of the awesome super smooth single track trails like the Epic Larch Hills Traverse or the Salty Dog Race Course (www.shuswaptrailalliance.com). Afterwards, a cool swim at Canoe Beach followed by a long nap and a “farm to table” dinner made from ingredients bought at the many local markets (http://shuswaptourism.ca/do/food-wine-farms).

The winter is just as much fun in the Shuswap. I love taking my son to Larch Hills for a little cross country outing, a warm up and hot chocolate in the larch hills ski chalet (www.skilarchhills.ca) followed dinner out at Heidi’s Wine Bistro where we can get our fill of homemade Spaetzle and Schnitzel.

Best experience you’ve had working in hotels?
I love the people. I have the opportunity to meet and work with such a diverse group of people. I find that I am inspired by their stories every day. I am pretty lucky to work around many amazing people.
