In celebration of Family Day and Valentine’s Day, there are some exciting holiday events happening in Kelowna that you won’t want to miss.
Family Day Events (February 11, 2013)
For the first ever Family Day, H20 Adventure has a free event from 9 am to 5 pm. This event has free swimming, games and snacks with donations being accepted for the Strong Kids Campaign.

Parkinson Recreation Centre
From 10 am to 3 pm, Parkinson Rec Centre is hosting a free event that has four themed stations. Some of these stations include face painting and storytelling circles in which participants learn about B.C.’s natural riches.

Family Day of Discovery – Okanagan Science Centre
In celebration of Family Day, the Okanagan Science Centre (OSC) is opening its doors from 11 am to 5 pm. This event will feature live experiments and activities for the whole family.
Valentine’s Day Events (February 14, 2013)
Bo.ttega Valentines Experience: LOVE IS
Bo.ttega is featuring a romantic event that includes a cocktail lounge atmosphere, appetizers, dessert and entertainment. The event will take place at 6:30 pm and admission is $50 per person.

Chic Gamine - Rotary Centre for the Arts
Catch an incredible concert from Juno awarded Chic Gamine, who embody the 60s girl group vibe. The concert is $30 for adults, and $10 for students and seniors, and takes place at 7:30 pm.

Kelowna Rockets Game
If you and that special someone are hockey fans, then you won’t want to miss an exciting Western League game between the Kelowna Rockets and the Everett Silvertips. The game will take place at Prospera Place at 7:05 pm.
